Yates Construction and Our Joint Venture Partner are Slated to Complete the Belterra Park Gaming & Entertainment Center in May 2014

Yates Construction and our joint venture partner are slated to complete Pinnacle Entertainment’s Belterra Park Gaming & Entertainment Center in May 2014. This 361,242 SF racino project consists of three stories that include a service level, a casino level with virtual lottery terminals, a mezzanine and grandstands. There will be 1,400 parking spaces under the facility and a mezzanine level to support the operations of the facility. Operational space includes offices, IT closets, and a surveillance room. A horse track, barns, and utility buildings will also be constructed.

The recently renamed entertainment center will preserve and honor the rich history of the original River Downs Racetrack. Original cupolas from the track will be incorporated into the property’s new design on the infield tote board and Winner’s Circle and terra cotta horse head sculptures from the original grandstand will be on display on the property’s lower level. Plans also call for the River Downs Club featuring racing memorabilia and original jockey silks from historic stakes races.
