Yates Constructed provided construction services for Hancock Bank’s Data Center. The 37,000 SF project is a “hardened” data center capable of withstanding a Category 5 Hurricane or F4 tornado. The data center is capable of standalone operation without service from local utilities for four days. With fuel, the data center can function independently from local utilities indefinitely. This project utilized a pre-cast skin with VTC flooring, concrete, and LAT ceilings. Security measures included a card reader system, biometric readers, motion sensor, and outdoor cameras. All doors are equipped with magnetic switches and electric strikes.
