Army Reserve Center Receives LEED® Silver Certification
The Army Reserve Center in Sinton, Texas receives USGBC’s LEED® Silver Certification. Scoring 34 out of a possible 69 points, this energy-efficient building utilized over 40% regional material and diverted 79% of construction waste from landfills. FSC wood was used exclusively throughout the building. Low emitting adhesives, paints, sealants, and coatings were used to provide a healthy indoor environment during construction and upon building occupancy.
