Yates Celebrates the Topping Out of Choctaw Central High School

Yates Construction recently celebrated the topping out of Choctaw Central High School in Choctaw, Mississippi! This milestone signifies substantial progress on the project's structure and honors the hard work of everyone involved.

Bill Yates, Chairman of Yates Construction, and Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben addressed attendees at the ceremony, which included over 300 onsite craft professionals and representatives from the project’s partners. Attendees were invited to sign the final steel beam before it was placed atop the new arena, marking this significant step in the project's development.

Yates Construction is providing construction management services for this 29-acre campus redevelopment, which includes a new academic building, band hall, dormitory, arena, Career and Technical Education (CTE) building, football field, and bus barn.

Congratulations to the project team on reaching this milestone! We look forward to continuing our work on this project, which will play a vital role in the education of future generations.
