Yates Construction Named Red Oak ISD Education Foundation 2026 Partner of the Year

The Red Oak ISD (ROISD) Education Foundation has named Yates Construction its 2026 Partner of the Year. This award recognizes the project team’s commitment to the Red Oak, Texas, community, its students, and its educators during the development of the DataBank DFW10 and DFW12 projects.

Stephen Valudos, Yates Construction’s Senior Project Manager on the DataBank DFW10 and DFW12 projects, accepted the award during the Foundation’s annual Parents, Partners, and Volunteers Reception. This recognition highlights the integration of large-scale construction projects with local community investment.

Handbags for Hawks

Yates served as the Beverage Sponsor and a table sponsor for the Handbags for Hawks event. This initiative hosted over 400 attendees and successfully raised $64,500 for ROISD Education Foundation programs.

ROISD Education Foundation Partnership Challenge Golf Tournament

As the 2026 Presenting Sponsor for the ROISD Education Foundation Partnership Challenge Golf Tournament, Yates significantly expanded the tournament's reach. Last year, the event hosted over 156 golfers along with 30 volunteers. By engaging other site vendors and subcontractors, Yates Construction’s team helped last year’s event achieve record-breaking fundraising totals, surpassing results from the previous 20 years.

Charitable Drives and Toys for Tots

The Yates project team supported the Red Oak ISD annual Toys for Tots Drive by delivering a truckload of toys to ensure local children received gifts during the Christmas season.

Additional Community Engagement

In addition to supporting charitable events, Yates Construction actively collaborates with officials and educators in Red Oak. These initiatives include:

• STEM and Workforce Development Engagement: Interactive sessions with students focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, along with insights into career paths through workforce development training.
