Yates provided construction services for a Confidential Battery/EV Campus Central Utility Plant (CUP). The CUP supports a vertically integrated ecosystem encompassing vehicle assembly, battery production, and a supplier park on a 3,600-acre campus.

The scope of work included the mechanical Installation of two solar turbines and two Rentech heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs). Yates installed the above-grade piping for the two turbines, two boilers, and the associated instrumentation. Yates also installed process equipment in the CUP, including over 40 pumps, more than 15 chillers, 26,000 LF of steam, and condensate piping from the CUP to the Pump House.
