The Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa

The Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa

Yates Construction and our joint venture partner provided construction management services for The Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa. At completion, this award-winning project was the largest hotel in New Jersey history as well as the state’s tallest building (43 stories). Considered an architectural and technological achievement, The Borgata has been featured on a National Geographic Channel’s “MegaStructures: Inside a Super Casino,” a one hour show detailing the journey of The Borgata from conceptual phase to completion. The project included original construction as well as multiple expansions which feature additional table and slot machine space and an 85-table poker room for large tournaments such as the World Series of Poker. In total, The Borgata’s 135,000-SF casino houses 145 gaming tables and 3,650 slot machines. Construction further included two high-energy night clubs and five new restaurants, three of which will be developed and operated by nationally acclaimed restaurateurs including Wolfgang Puck’s first fine-dining eatery on the East Coast, the Wolfgang Puck American Grill. Eleven retail shops and more than a dozen restaurant lounges encompass the luxurious resort, as well as a 2,400-seat event center and 1,000-seat theatre. A European spa covers over 50,000 SF and parallels the hotel’s palatial ambiance.
