Vertical Construction Begins at the New Tarrant County Civil Courts Building

January 8, 2013; Fort Worth, Texas – In downtown Fort Worth, construction crews recently started vertical construction on the Tarrant County Civil Courts project. Crews have excavated 22,000 cubic yards of dirt, drilled 104 piers, and poured over 1,200 cubic yards of slab on grade concrete in preparation for vertical structural components. Once complete, the new Civil Courts will have seven-stories, a public plaza, and integrate architectural features to echo the historic elements of prominent buildings in the surrounding area.  The project management team is a joint venture between Yates Construction and Vendigm Construction.
