Yates Construction Breaks Ground on the United Cooperative Services Hood County Office

Granbury, TX, December 18, 2013 – Yates Construction has been selected by the United Cooperative Services to renovate and expand the Hood County Office. Located at 320 Fall Creek Highway in Granbury, Texas, the property is approximately 4.2 acres and houses offices and the storage facility for the United Cooperative Services in Hood County. In addition to a 9,865 square foot expansion, the scope of this project includes selective demolition of the existing structure and complete upgrading of finishes and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing of the 9,608 square foot existing facility. The new facility will be certified as LEED Silver and will be completed in several phases to allow the continued operation of the facility during construction. “We have truly enjoyed working as part of this team and are excited about breaking ground on the United Hood County Office project. The on-going partnership of Yates, Perkins + Will Architects, and United has been very effective in managing the pre-construction process and will ensure that the project is driven to a successful end.” said Randy Powell, Senior Vice President, Texas Division.
