Yates Receives Four Merit Awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)

ABC Merit Award Winning Projects:

Hilton Canopy & Homewood Suites the Gulch in Nashville, Tennessee

• The 325,000 SF dual-branded project features two 11-story towers with a single-level, below-grade valet parking garage. The hotels feature 334 guest rooms, 2,500 SF of retail space, two bars, a cafe, and an outdoor terrace. 

Panasonic Energy Electric Vehicle Battery Plant Phase I in DeSoto, Kansas

• The project scope includes an assembly building, a central utility plant, support buildings, and site development, including parking, roads, and utility support. The plant will have an annual production capacity of approximately 30 GWh. Powertrain Facility Phase III in Corpus Christi, Texas

• The Aircraft Component Repair Shop is an approximately 133,000 SF single-story high-bay facility with mechanical mezzanines. The project also contains utility infrastructure, paving, fencing, and other site work. This facility, deemed Phase III, also ties into Phase II and is considered mission-critical to the U.S. Army and its aircraft repair functionality. 

SR 6 Bridge Replacements in Quitman County, Mississippi

• Yates Construction provided construction services for the Bridge Replacements on SR 6 through Marks, Mississippi. The scope of work included clearing and grubbing, removal of two bridges, approximately 280,000 CY of earthwork, and construction of two bridge replacements.
