Yates Construction Awarded the Homewood Suites and Canopy by Hilton Nashville Downtown the Gulch

Nashville, Tennessee – Today, Yates Construction broke ground on the dual-branded Homewood Suites and Canopy by Hilton Nashville Downtown the Gulch (Canopy/Homewood The Gulch) project. Designed by architectural firm ODA with interior design by Campbell House, the 181-room Canopy by Hilton hotel and the 152-room Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel will share the property at 910 Division Street. Each hotel will have flexible meeting and event space. Additionally, the hotels will share a fitness center, two restaurants/bars, a cafe, and an outdoor terrace. Tara Investments leads the development with financing partner Goldman Sachs.
The development will showcase the city’s first Canopy by Hilton, a vibrant boutique lifestyle hotel that provides an authentically local experience. The dual-branded hotel is also the first of its kind in The Gulch neighborhood and Hilton’s first dual-brand hotel in downtown Nashville.
The Gulch is a once-abandoned industrial area that has undergone a major urban revitalization in recent years. The history of the site and community has impacted the new hotel’s design. Developed on the former site of the Yazoo Brewing Company, the hotel’s post-industrial design will serve as a natural extension of the community, connecting guests to The Gulch while enabling them to experience the sights and sounds of Music City.
