Yates Construction provided construction services for the Portofino Condominiums project, located in a secluded island environment and surrounded by the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The Pensacola Beach, Florida resort consists of five 450,000 SF, 21-story residential towers, a Spa & Lifestyle Center, and sales office. Each tower includes 153 residential units, a 750-space parking garage and a 70-foot heated swimming pool with whirlpool spa. The towers’ units have spacious two and three bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 SF. A blend of Italian and Mediterranean architecture throughout the complex utilizes the finest luxury features, including fully equipped kitchens with designer European cabinets, Roman whirlpool tubs in master suites, and sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Bay from expansive balconies. Inspired by classic European spas, the two-story, 11,000 SF Spa & Lifestyle Center has a 25-meter indoor swimming pool sheltered by a soaring wood-beamed ceiling, as well as a large outdoor free-form swimming pool, two outdoor whirlpool spas, sauna areas, massage rooms, and a restaurant and lounge.
