Yates Construction and our joint venture partner provided preconstruction and general construction services for the River City Casino project. This project is a gaming and multi-use complex comprised of the construction of a 220,000 SF building which includes a 90,000 SF floating concrete barge. The facility sits on approximately 56 acres with a 3,000 vehicle parking capacity. Restaurant and bar amenities include a popular steakhouse, 350-seat buffet, 1950’s style cafe, a burger joint, and coffee shop. Stylish lounges include Judy’s Velvet Lounge (a 75-seat venue) and the 1904 Beerhouse, which holds a 60-foot long bar. The interior and exterior design approach is New Age authentic, reflective of an overall look of a Missouri riverboat town at the peak of the steamboat trade on the Mississippi River.
