Texas State University College of Business Administration

Yates Construction provided construction services for the Texas State University McCoy College of Business Administration. This five-story facility is comprised of a pier and beam foundation on an elevated slab with a sub-basement. The tan colored brick exterior of the building is accented by recessed gray brick lines and large, fixed windows. The roof is a copper-barrel style that directly correlates in shape with the central corridor of each floor. Included are high-tech classrooms, computer labs, student team study rooms, technology support areas, faculty offices, departmental centers, the Dean’s administrative center, conference rooms, the Paul Bulmahn Research and Trading Laboratory, the Gary V. Woods Teaching Theater, the Dennis and Cindy McCoy Teaching Theater, and the Century Tel Advising Center. In addition, an open-air rotunda and a courtyard area serve as an outdoor lounge for students and visitors.
