Yates Construction provided design-build construction services for the Wallace Creek Regimental Complex – Headquarters and Telecommunication Buildings. Located on a 225-acre campus, this project was designed to support the activities of over 3,000 marines. This project included two headquarter buildings and an onsite data center. The headquarters buildings include offices, classrooms Battalion Aid Station, locker rooms and shower rooms, SIPRnet Cafe, and EKMS vault. The telecommunication center is mechanically conditioned using down-flow computer room type HVAC units with direct expansion (DX) condensers. N+1 units are provided for redundancy. The raised access floor serves as a plenum for air distribution. Through-wall cable vault ventilation is provided. A split system air conditioner serves the Battery Room.
